~artist in residence~ ANITA STEVENS is ready to let you in on all of her little secrets at The Granite Belt Art & Craft Trail.

As a hobby artist being mostly self taught, Anita expresses her creative world using several mediums. She loves the use of soft delicate pastels, the versatile nature of acrylics and the challenge of painting in oil.

To enhance her LOVE for ART as a hobby and to stay motivated, Anita joined an artist group where her aim to feel relaxed, inspired and creative is nurtured weekly within a setting of like minded people.

If, like Anita, you feel INSPIRED by being in the company of like minded people plan some time with her and quench your longing !
Find out what scratchboarding is all about or sit and talk technique as she adds touches to one her current pieces. You could even reward yourself with a gift and take home one her works which will be available for sale.

Australian Small Winemakers Public Tasting

The Australian Small Winemakers Show (ASWS) is held in Stanthorpe, arguably Queensland’s most respected wine producing region.

It was originally established in 1987 by the wine sub-committee of the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society and has grown to be the most prestigious wine show for small winemakers in Australia and New Zealand and one of the fastest growing shows on the annual wine circuit.

The show is run by a dedicated group of volunteers from all walks of life. They are all interested in the promotion of the Queensland Wine industry and the appreciation of Queensland wines.
