‘Ellie’ 2018 Sparkling Brut Blanc de Blanc

This wine is named after the first Ridemill Estate grandchild, Ellie is a lovely bright bubbly young lady who is always the life of the party.

Lovely aromas of green apple and lemon. The palate shows green apple with lemon and limes with hints of yeastiness on a perfectly balance palate with a lingering finish.

Riesling 2017

Made from Granite Belt Riesling, this wine has lovely perfume of small white flowers, talc, stone fruit, citrus and flint. The palate is rounded and generous with Grapefruit, lemon, lime pith and wet slate, finishing long and nicely balanced. Enjoy with fresh oysters or Kilpatrick.

Chardonnay 2018 

 The appearance is brilliant and clear, aromas of white fleshed nectarines, grapefruit with squeezes of lemons and limes along the length of the pristine and energetic palate.  Regular battonnage gives the wine a subtle, supple and sexiness to the palate, finishing with lovely mineral notes.

Pinot G 2018

Bronze medal

Aromas of minerals and pears with hints of roses. The palate is showing apple, pear, hay with hints of wild honey and a lovely finish that lingers on and on.

Moggies – ‘Sweet White’

A sweet white wine made from Verdelho grapes.  This wine has lovely flavours of passion-fruit and sweet tropical fruits.

Rosé 2019 

Delicate soft pastel pink colour, aromas of Italian herbs and red berries. Beautiful juicy, rounded palate with delicate red berry and red fruits, finishing with a lovely delicate savoury character and fresh, crisp acidity.

The Spaniard 2017 – Tempranillo

Silver Medal

Mulberry hues with aromas of sarsaparilla, dark cherry and wood spice. The palate is luscious with plum, mulberry and cherry-cola finishing fresh and virbrant with good structure.

The Lincoln – Shiraz 2016

Rated 92 points by Vinsomniac

White pepper, cinnamon, clove and bramble characters. Lovely texture and complexity from the 20% whole bunch ferment, cherry and bramble characters with a lovely savouriness, finishing with hints of wood smoked bacon hocks.

Black wine with red/purple edges. Blackberries, cassis and hints of purple fruit. On the palate you will enjoy black fruits/berries, dark chocolate with red liquorice, Oreo biscuits with graphite powder and succulent tannins finishing long and generous.

Benny’s Blend 2016

‘New Release’

Benjamin is the third youngest of the Ridgemill Estate grandkids lending their names to wines in our range. This wine is a blend of Bordeaux varieties, Merlot and Malbec generally not seen without their wingmen Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet Franc. In this case they work great. Aromas of pencil shavings, graphite, tobacco leaf and hints of spice. A full and concentrated palate showing dark plum and black cherry with lashing of red fruits. A tight and focused palate with new French oak in a supporting role.

Joshua’s Pup – Shiraz- Grenache 2017 

Lovely bright mid crimson colour with red and white stone fruit aromas from the co-fermentation of the shiraz and viognier, nice volume and texture in the mouth.   Elegant and medium bodied wine showing meaty and bunchy characters with great structure from the Mourvedre component.

Sly Dog

Our Sly Dog is a fortified Verdelho with just a touch of liqueur Muscat. Nougat, raisins and nuts with hints of rosewater. Sweet and delicious, raisins, nuts with spirit cleaning the palate.
